Nekeysha Jones, Principal

Nekeysha Jones proudly serves as the principal of Sparkman Ninth Grade School, where she is dedicated to cultivating a safe, inclusive, and academically challenging environment for every student. She brings extensive experience to her role, having served with MCSS as a teacher, instructional leader, and administrator.

Prior to becoming principal at Sparkman Ninth Grade, Mrs. Jones held several key positions, including Assistant Principal, Athletic Director, Discipline Coordinator, and Test Coordinator. She earned her certification in Educational Leadership from Samford University, a Master’s degree in Physical Education from Alabama A&M University, and a Bachelor's degree from Faulkner University.

Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Jones enjoys reading, shopping, and spending quality time with her family. She is married to Attorney Jason M. Jones, and together they have two daughters - Breanna and Melanie.
